A folding glass wall that concertinas to the side and opens the whole room to the outside — up to fourteen leaves, panels to ten feet tall, with an end leaf hinged as an everyday traffic door. We fabricate and install the Cortizo Bi-Fold system ourselves, one team from survey to handover.
The system
Built on the Cortizo Bi-Fold.
The Cortizo Bi-Fold folds flat against the wall so the entire opening becomes usable — patio, terrace or garden brought into the room. The end leaf is hinged as a traffic door, so you step through a single leaf for everyday use without folding the whole set back.
Multi-point locking on the primary leaves and shoot-bolts on every intermediate panel come as standard, not as an upgrade. A 2⅞″ (73 mm) frame with a polyamide thermal break holds a U-factor of 0.17.
Cortizo engineers the profiles in Europe. We fabricate them to your exact opening, glaze and assemble each leaf in-house, and install and calibrate on site with our own team across Texas — no dealer, no separate installer.

What is a bi-fold (folding) glass door?
A folding glass door is a run of hinged panels that fold flat against the wall like a concertina, opening most of the wall to the outside. Ours is the Cortizo Bi-Fold — up to 14 leaves, with an end leaf hinged as an everyday traffic door.
Can I walk through without opening the whole door?
Yes. The end leaf is hinged as a traffic door, so you step through a single leaf for everyday use and only fold the full set back when you want the entire opening.
How many panels can a folding door have?
Up to 14 leaves in a single opening, folding inward or outward, in almost any even or odd split you need.
How secure are folding glass doors?
Multi-point locking on the primary leaves and shoot-bolts on every intermediate panel come as standard, not as a paid upgrade. The system is also anti-intrusion tested to PAS 24 — a UK standard, so it will not appear on a US submittal, but it is a real third-party result and we would rather cite it accurately than imply a domestic equivalent.
Do you install folding patio doors in Texas?

Folding or sliding — which should I choose?
Choose folding when you want to open the entire wall and do not mind the panels stacking to one side. Choose sliding for the slimmest sightline and an uninterrupted view, with most of the opening usable.
